Attica hit by deepening reservoir crisis

Attica is facing its most severe persistent drought in decades, according to new correspondence in which the Athens Water Supply and Sewerage Company (EYDAP) warns the Environment Ministry and the Regulatory Authority for Waste, Energy and Water (RAAEY) that the region must be declared in a state of emergency.
