Israeli civilian rescued from Palestinian West Bank city after suspected kidnapping and assault

According to an initial IDF investigation, a 41-year-old woman entered the Jericho area with an Arab acquaintance, realized she was in Palestinian Authority–controlled territory and tried unsuccessfully to flee. She was then taken to an apartment in Jericho where she was assaulted, before escaping and contacting Israeli police
