The EU changes course, the ban on combustion engines from 2035 is dropped

Twelve months after the start of talks with the crisis-hit automotive sector, the EU Commission is rewriting the emissions regulation, allowing car manufacturers to reduce tailpipe CO2 emissions by 90% from 2035 compared to 2021, no longer by 100% as currently planned.
