Iran reports decline in its airports' passenger throughput

Iran’s airport passenger traffic dropped 19% to 16.8 million in the first half of 2025. The steepest decline, 73%, occurred in the fourth month. Mehrabad led with 5.13 million passengers, followed by Mashhad and Shiraz.
