Ultra-Orthodox schoolgirls in Israel outperform their secular counterparts, study shows
According to the OECD's 2025 international PISA report, non-religious schoolgirls in Israel lagged two years behind their ultra-Orthodox counterparts in reading. A smaller gap in mathematics also favored the Haredi students
